F2.1

I decided since Melon was hanging out while awaiting pick up, I would try him on one of my favorite does and bring in another (smaller) line.  She's a light patterned broken chestnut.

I am expecting Broken chestnuts and solid chestnuts, some harlie mark and some not. This is all a game of chance with her though because her litters are typically small (1-2). I could end up with all chestnut (non-harlie). In retrospect it would have been wiser to breed her to Solomon as he's homozygous for harlie. Maybe next time!

I've been breeding rabbits and studying genetics on and off for almost 20 years. I introduced the Harlequin/Tri-color into English Lops back in 2006, and now I am working with the color in Netherlands.
