P1 generation (A)
So Creamcicle had very clear color and high rufus. Beautiful, though not ideal for the project. The rufus is fine, but the clarity of her coat meant that her offspring would have less color (which is exactly what happened).
The two I kept still need a lot of improvement (I hate their ears! Agh) but it gave me a little more security in case something happened to Solomon before I got any other offspring. Chookhenge Melon is sold (though still here at the time of this post), and Chookhenge Apricot has a litter I will talk about later. Both are larger non-dwarf brood stock, but at this point I don't care so much about size. The brood size gives me larger litters so I can be pickier about what I keep. Bringing size down later on is not as hard as getting everything else in place.
